Slideshow!!!

As I mentioned in my previous post, we received around 100 or so selected photos that our photographer dubbed as his favorite. I took those and created a slideshow for everyone to see! Enjoy!!! :)

Speechless....

That's the only way I can describe my feelings about our pro pics. My jaw has been on the ground since we saw the "Selected" photos, the 100 or top picks by or photographer, and the remaining 900 I flew through last night and may or may not have been looking at all day today! They are simply stunning. We are beyond thrilled, ecstatic, impressed with his work and I can't believe how many beautiful photos we got from him, and everyone for that matter! I'll be recapping the entire wedding over time, so I can have it documented and not forget a thing, but in the meantime, I couldn't help but post some of the favorites. And these were hard to pick from the 1000 he gave us!!!

Reason #3,768 Why Our Coordinator Rocks

A wonderful surprise dropped into my inbox tonight!! Our pictures that Don Sias with 13BFoto took of our rehearsal and ceremony!!!! :) Not only did his wife kick some serious a** at keeping the wedding perfect, (sorry, but she did) her husband "practiced" taking some shots of our wedding as well. That meant having another photographer on site bringing our total up to 4! (will explain in a later post how our hired photographers, Beaux Arts Photography, showed up with an additional camera lady as well) For a husband (hehe) who is a photographer himself, it really helped us relax because every possible corner of our church was covered. And by "practice" I mean he took some shots that rivaled most of the photographers we interviewed prior to booking ours. We are so truly honored that he practiced with our wedding and I highly recommend anyone looking to score a great set of photographers to check out their site here.

And now for the pictures!!! The full albums can be viewed by clicking on the "Gulick Wedding Album" text below and I still tear up as I look through them, even after the 23rd time. :)

I Get By With a Little Help From My Friends..

Well, I'm back and officially a Mrs.!! I'm trying to get used to calling my fiance my husband, still giggle everytime I say it, and working on the mile long list of things to do to change my name. Just curious, but am I the only person who think men get off way to easy on everything?? Lol!

As I wait, very impatiently I might add, for our pro pics to come back from our incredible photographers, within hours of our nuptials, our friends had already blessed us with some beautiful photos from the wedding! I wasn't one of those brides who tried to get people to not post pics on Facebook or wherever they want because if someone was so touched and excited to be at our wedding that we were put on their social network page, so be it! Plus it gives us an opportunity to see our wedding through their eyes and sneak peeks of what our pro pics might look like. :) There aren't many detail shots to show off our amazing florist just yet or our hours setting up on Friday final look but I'm ok with that for now. Here are some of the beautiful pictures captured by our friends and family at our ceremony!

And the reception!

We're now Mr. & Mrs. Gulick and I couldn't be happier with how everything went! These are just a handful of photos from the big day and so many more can be found on our Shutterfly site. I had to upload all of the Facebook photos other people posted since no one has uploaded anything yet and I hope more people add to it! It's such a great way to see everyone's photos, whether you're on Facebook or not, haha. http://curtisandfrances.shutterfly.com I will be uploading pro pics to this site as well once we have them so everyone can see them!

As for the honeymoon, talk about a trip of a lifetime! We were in awe the entire time we were there between the staff and the beauty around us, the diving, the food, etc. We cannot say enough great things about Paradise Taveuni and I won't lie, I cried when we left. We made friends there and talked to people who have had the opportunity to grow up, and have never left, such a beautiful place. There were no bad days, no bad experiences, no bad anything! The island is populated with people who enjoy life, live a simple life and absolutely love being happy and around loved ones. The ocean was filled with sea creatures we had never ever seen anywhere on the internet and I even became an advanced diver while there! We dove one of the greatest diving sites in the entire world, The Great White Wall, and were on sensory overload the entire time. Nothing in the world compares to Taveuni. We don't have diving pictures up yet but here are a few teasers! A small, and I mean very small, number of photos can be found by going to http://curtisgulick.com/photography/fiji2010 to see a small sampling of our resort and what we experienced. It will take a few weeks to upload all of the pictures and movies but I promise to give you a heads up here!

Signing Off!!!

I'm officially signing off as Miss! With the next two weeks chock full of things to do like relaxing and enjoying being engaged, I'm finishing any and all wedding tasks this week and then cutting myself off. So thank you to everyone who reads this and I can't wait to post recap pictures as a married lady! I am so lucky to have my friends and family support us throughout this whirlwind of a year and a half and we are so grateful for them. And most of all, I am so lucky to be marrying the man of my dreams in just 14 days. He's everything I could have wanted and more and I hope the next 14 days fly by!!!!

Ciao,

Frances :)

Our house right now: we're ready to go!

Let's Get Ready to Rumble!!!!!

And now to touch on the most important part of our wedding, besides the marriage of course. :) The music!!! I've hand picked every song being played at the wedding to make sure that our guests will be on the dance all night long! While searching for some classic rock, hot songs of 2010 and the pop songs we'll never forget, I came across one very talented DJ. His name is DJ Earworm and all I can say is WOW! He does mashups of Billboard's top 20 songs of each year and luckily he just released his new mashup for 2010!!! At 10pm, we'll play his Best of 2009 to get all of our friend's on the dance floor followed by his new mashup of 2010. We'll then go into playing one of the best party anthems of this century, Black Eyed Peas, I Gotta Feelin'.

DJ Earworm is insanely talented so I had to share our two mashup songs! :) Enjoy and we can't wait to blast these at our reception and really get the party started!!!

Hangin' Tough!

I found the most adorable hanger online and of course, had to re-create! I bought some dark wood hangers from Ikea and 14 gauge wire and about 20 minutes later, Viola!!! I was pretty proud of my craftiness. :) I am so excited to hang my wedding dress on this for a short moment (not sure how strong it us!) for a perfect photo op. It was pretty easy to make and I'm thrilled with how it turned out!

Welcome Out of Towners!
